Clint Sudweeks Clint Sudweeks is an active pianist, composer, songwriter, bandleader and producer from Utah Valley. He has performed with Grammy Award-winning musicians such as Jeff Coffin (Dave Matthew’s Band), Brian Lynch and Poncho Sanchez and has performed throughout the United States, Europe and the Caribbean. He sings and plays piano for his band Some Other Planet which can be heard on all streaming services as well as his older solo project Clint Sudweeks.
Clint received a Master's Degree in Jazz Piano Studies on a full-ride scholarship from the University of Utah where he studied under Kristopher Johnson of the Count Basie Orchestra. He received Bachelor's Degree in Music Composition from Snow College where he studied under Juilliard grad Philip Kuehn (who can be heard in the Pixar Film Soul and in Jon Batiste's band)
Clint has been teaching privately for 14 years. He teaches piano, guitar, ukulele, songwriting, composition, music theory, jazz improvisation and music production. He specializes in teaching classical, jazz, rock and pop piano and songwriting.
Abby Sudweeks is an active performer, teacher and bandleader from Utah Valley. She founded her folk band, The Fabled Folks, who perform regularly throughout Utah and can be found on social media. She has toured Poland, the Czech Republic, Haiti, Serbia and Romania with Clog America, an acclaimed folk ensemble.
Abby was a student of the commercial music program at Snow College where she founded the Snow College Bluegrass Club. While at the University of Utah, she studied with the violin pedagogue and virtuoso Kasia Sokol-Borup and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education. She has performed with artists and groups such as Kevin Olusola of Pentatonix, the Utah Symphony, Nathan Pacheco, Ryan Shupe and the Rubberband, Kurt Bestor, Jenny Oaks Baker, and BYU Vocal Point.
Abby has been teaching music privately for 14 years and specializes in teaching folk music on the mandolin, fiddle and guitar and classical music on the violin and piano.
